Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016)
Eccentric magizoologist Newt Scamander arrives in New York with his well-worn suitcase. This suitcase is one of those that is much, much bigger on the inside than on the outside (most likely thanks to an Undetectable Extension Charm). Inside, it contains an extensive natural habitat for a collection of rare, endangered magical creatures that Newt has found during his travels around the world.
Newt discovers that the American wizarding community lives in fear, hiding from Muggles (or, as Americans call them, "No-Majs"), and that the threat of public exposure, especially from the organization known as the Second Salemers, is an even bigger issue here than in Britain.
In New York, he encounters an American No-Maj named Jacob Kowalski, and a mix-up occurs with their suitcases. Jacob ends up with the wizard's suitcase, and upon opening it, he accidentally releases numerous fantastic creatures. One of them bites Jacob, prompting Newt to take him along in an attempt to cure him while also rounding up his "zoo." Amidst all this chaos, the two become friends.
